bing.... bang.... boom.... snore.....

it seems that we wont be getting any significant storms this week... maybe friday though....

todays gonna be rainy, cool, and crappy. itll get warmer as the week progresses, with a risk of storms on friday.

i cannot believe that were getting snow right now.... its ridiculous! what happened to all the warm weather we had last week??

i wasnt too sure about friday afternon, about seeing any severe weather. but as the sky cleared up a bit allowing for some daytime heating to rise in the break in the clouds, i saw thatthe airmass was actually very unstable as forecasted, with high level clouds, and low level clouds which looked like they had some slight rotation in them. as the night rolled in, the storms came after 9pm, but i missed it... go figure.

this summer i plan on making a severe weather journal... with some pictures too.... hope you guys will like em:D

anyway in the long run, im not liking this cold weather, i just changed the jetting on my dirtbike's carb so suit above 10 degrees but meh, i dont think ill get any riding in yet.

ugh... we got nothin... just a small storm...

so all that severe weather we were supposed to get... all we got was a small band of thunderstorms with intense lightning... and it looks apparent that there was heavy rain as well..... but i was asleep when all this happened, anyone who lives in southern ontario and saw this line of storms come by them i want to know some details as to what happened.... my boyfriend tells me that there was an enough lightning to light up the whole sky.... man.... im frustrated because i missed the first storm of the season..... and i heard it was good..... but whatever i was very tired and i guess sleep was more important.... but anyone who saw it.... please send a comment to this entry.... or even if you see this and live in the states.... I WANNA HEAR ABOUT WHAT YOU SAW!!!

but i have to say i was watching the weather in michigan before i fell asleep.... there was a tornado warning issued for the flint area(?) but im guessing nothing happened based on the storm reports from NOAA's SPC.

yeah, i guess you can say i totally slacked off on this storm... and i regret it.... anyway i promise to post the next weather issue when it comes.

So... who else is monitoring the severe weather outbreak in the southern US?

yes, i agree.... im a weather nut.... and im bored of canada's weather.... but i recently checked out NOAA's National Weather Service's site and theyre calling for a severe weather outbreak for today and tomorrow... and it just so happens that the great lakes are going to be involved with this storm system tomorrow.... im so stoked!

Earlier on today I was looking at the National Weather Service's SPC section. In the day 2 outlook it includes the Great Lakes section (lower michigan) as being in a slight risk for severe storms. If all goes well and this storm system holds out, we will be seeing weather similar to what was going on in the southern states for the past few days, including isolated tornadoes, hail, and damaing winds.

I really hope I get to see some kind of severe weather tomorrow or maybe tonight, as this will officially be the first thunderstorm for our area thia season. its almost like a season opener hahaha... anyway i will write about any new significant events if they happen...
